Oral Book International Centre The history of the service started in 1983 when Feltre Mountain Community provided book recordings on audio cassettes to the area Blind People, through their own Association Library. Such an enterprise gained more an more ground to the extent that two years later a "Voice Bank" was established in order to meet the requirements of the Blind's studying and reading. The amount of recordings has been growing daily and with the aim of offering a better service the Feltre Mountain Community decided to create a No Profit Organization, which was officially acknowledged by the Venetias District in 1997. It was given the name of Oral Book International Centre. In 1998 a forward step was taken: the association was entirely held responsible for such a service.
